What a complete knobI agree totally, I live in France where the summer days are boiling, and seeing as the car will only be going out when it's dry and sunny, I would like to release all that heat build up when I'm in it.
Pete.
so you'll release the heat by removing the roof and then sit in the open sunshine and bake.

Why is it every post I've read from you today you're criticising or slagging people off?

Flaming

Anymore name calling etc will be dealt with. No need for it.

Sorry opinions not allowed in Fluffy Mini Land? The reply I made was to a silly statement...again going back to a previous ridiculous statement about ruining a car with a sunroof, in itself provocative. Each to their own but if you have ever had the pleasure of driving a Webastoed Mini, then you also would support the idea. Why is it every post I've read from you today you're criticising or slagging people off? What a complete knobI agree totally, I live in France where the summer days are boiling, and seeing as the car will only be going out when it's dry and sunny, I would like to release all that heat build up when I'm in it.

1) there is a lot more wind noise when at speed
2) car is freezing in winter and at least mine takes long to warm up (in the cabin). a wind deflector helps
3) water will find its way in
4) spare parts are rare, or expensive
5) the outer skin will shrink and harden over time, meaning the wind noise, water ingress will get worse
you can buy a full webasto manual kit for 650, but best pay a coach works to fit it
the bmw glass roof looks good :)
