Hi folks,

Im after a wiring diagram for a mk3. Haynes option is shitey, and cant find anything online. The car in question is a 1974 mini 1000 with a well messed about wiring loom. I need a good diagram in order to fault find and rejig what is there. And i cant do that without knowing what colour coding relates to what.

BS-AU7 colour wiring codes in the FAQs electrical section where strangely few tend to visit?

Indeed.  Few seem to look at the FAQ articles.  I must admit, it can be difficult to find the document you are looking for... even if you know it is there.

 

For additional information, perhaps the PDF linked below will be of help.  It is a diagram for the 1275 GT with alternator.  It should cover most of the wiring on your car.

That combined with the color code chart Kernow mentioned should handle your needs.
