There's someone on Turbo Minis who has fitted motorbike gearbox internals into a Mini casing but it's a hell of a lot of work.

Quaife also made a couple for a chap called Steve Harris but they were mega bucks.

Do you know how much the motorbike internals conversion would be roughly? Cheers in advance

Whoa mate calm down... no need to be so touchy over me being rubbish at the internet (yes. That was what I meant to say.) I honestly am pretty useless with computers, im more hands on. Like I learn by having a conversation with someone and being shown how to do something, not my fault im not the brightest spark. I was simply asking if it could be done and price, and if twin rads were good idea or totally poitless? Sorry for touching a nerve.

ERA Turbos had a second small rad, and Viku Perala's Rover V8 Mini uses 2 I think. Jack Knight make sequential shifters for their 4, 5 and even 6 speeds if you can convince them it might be a good idea to sell something to someone one day.

Thanks guys, but jeez the price! Had a thought last night while I was using my lego to model e sequential box, would it not be possible to just convert an auto to where it was more, semi auto? So you controlled when it changed but it did the work? Just a thought? Tell me if thats a stupid idea? So its not necessarily a sequential, but it works in a similar fashion with regards to user input? I.e, you press a paddle to shift up, and another to go down?
