Have just collected this Innocenti De Tomaso, Had never heard of one before. I had actually gone to buy a crashed car off a guy and ended up with this as well.

It has been owned by him since 1980 I think he said. Was put in his garage when he stopped using it but 2 years ago it was put outside and it has hit it fairly hard. Not sure what its like underneath. All tyres are perished. It has the Mini 1275 engine

Have not been able to find any for sale in the UK, does anyone have one or know much about them?

My friend told me he thought it would be a 90 or 120 but this is the sporty De Tomaso

You don't see them come up for sale very often.

Managed to get it off truck and into the garage. Looks even smaller now. My daughter seems to thing I should restore it for her. Had quick look at the sills and they seem solid and from what I can see floor looks good. Doors are quite bad and there are a few holes round tailgate. Interior is OK.

So now more confused, as I prefer to sell cars as dont have time to restore. I might free off the brakes this week and sort it so it running on 4 pumped up tyres and then have a go at starting.

I genuinely have no idea what its worth, anyone have any ideas?

There was one at Cowley Classic Car Show this year.  I tried to find the owner/s to speak to them , but unfortunately I couldn't find them in the limited time I had.  I know the organiser of the show and if you wanted to get in touch with the owner of this Innocenti, I'm happy to ask the show organiser if he has his contact details.  If he does, I'm sure he would be happy to forward your contact details on.

Here are the photos that I took:

Yes I would like to be able to speak to the owner if possible. I really am tempted to do this one. Part of me thinks good idea and part of me thinks just take the money and run and let someone else have the grief

No problem - I'll email the show organiser and see if he has the contact details for the owner of this one.

Fantastic! I've got an old model of one of these somewhere. I'll post a picture of it up if I come across it.

Matt.
