Pictures and spec of the featured car in the link
That picture was taken outside of here, and I was lucky enough to get a passenger ride in it. That was many years of work, in a completely mental car (the tyres were completely rubbish, but period looking). Quite an art to get it to pull away nicely, as it had a halved accelerator pedal, 1 half for each engine

The red one above is the original one built by a guy called Neil Preston. He has since built another green one.

I watched this yesterday. A decent program actually - the guy is genuinely passionate about old cars.

The first copy of the twinnie was built back in 1994-5 built by Richard Mansfield there were only 2 cars built by Abingdon in the 60s and 1 was written off by John Cooper wich nearly killed him.......the other was dismantled and the shell distroyed.............Richard Mansfield used the orignal plans to make his......it was an almond green mk1 S.......its first outing was at Beaulieu and was sold to a Japanise man on the same day he also bought CAB 650 also owned by Mr Mansfield.....

I watched an episode of this yesterday where he went to a couple of different warehouses. In both cases, the owner had basically collected loads and loads of classic cars. The first of the warehouses was the better, simply for the sheer volume of everything else. He had thousands of old number plates hanging from the ceiling, loads of bikes, loads of cars, loads of parts. I would love to be in a position to do that!
