Was given this chainsaw from a friend who wanted to use the engine in a go kart.
Villiers 4.5hp 98cc engine.
Here are some pictures when i got it.
And some pictures through the restoration.
And finally what stage its at currently.
Having a bit of trouble getting it started, i have compression and a spark, and I've reset the timing, doesn't want to fire at all, maybe the coils goosed...
Anyway, what do you think? :)

Getting harder and harder to get a full bike license, the test consisted of 4 times round the block in 1980 when i passed my test. Traded my superdeam in the next day for a Suzuki GS550E, £1275 new !!

Aye CB250N Superdream, bought it new in 1979 for about £850, traded a Ramair Suzuki GT250M in for it (think i got £150 for it ) Had two more superdreams and dream in the 80,s as ride to work bikes. No one wanted them could get them for not a lot of money, good bikes, slated by most , which made them cheap. Saw 90 mph on the clock once ! not as quick as my mates RD250s and X7s
