Will upload my pics when I get in tonight, it was so cold! Probably why a lot of people didn't turn up. My fingers were numb for hours after I got home

I went, had a great time and did the test hill for the first time!

Was it fun? I'm going to have to wait until next year, had no idea you had to reserve a place

You are supposed to reserve a place, and can do it online with a form from their webpage, but I forgot to do it as well.

So as there were not many people there I went and asked at reception and they sent me round to the briefing and allowed me to do it!

Considering how bad the weather was I thought it was a good show, it was never going to be a show stopper when it's that bitterly cold, mind you it wasn't that bad I mean there was a guy dressed up as a penguin!

Fair play to the show n shiners, they weren't gonna let a bit of snow stop them...

Test hill was hilarious, I think even the 998's were spinning up big time, anybody get any vid footage?

So I tried plan b to try and dry it - by spinning up

Rover steelies probably weren't that helpful

They only help with one thing - to keep them lovely hub caps in place

Surprisingly I have struggled sometimes to spin it in second in the dry with them on but brookys weather was silly, if its the same next year I'm taking passengers for some extra added weight! Bonnet boot roof lock stock the lot

Has anyone here got any vid footage of any test hill runs?

We had an awesome weekend We faffed about so much in the morning at the hotel that we were late for the SMOC convoy which left Claket lane at 8.30 but saw a few Minis along the way and ended up in a small convoy towards the end anyway

Impressive turnout weather considered. It's a shame that those that thought it was too cold didn't come in the end but as always, the show was great!

Nice to see the familiar faces as always!

I saw you a few times Kam, mainly up the test hill, I smiled at the lady in the passenger seat but she frowned and didn't look so impressed!
