I took this photo off the tv screen (freeze frame paused) tonight on BBC4 "The Secret Life of Rubbish" of a Police Panda Mini in Bermuda village, Nuneaton in 1972.

I was told by someone on the MCR forum that "Bermuda Village" is appropriate as he thinks the Police "Panda" cars were sprayed in Bermuda Blue!

Old skool mini's have got a police mini; think they bought it at the NEC this year its a "69 and is all white it's pretty cool.

They had to move it to get my car out and when it started the blue light on the top came on :w00t:

If someone were to recreate one of these as their own car would there be legal issues with impersonating the police?

Love the way how they used an 850 though - can just imagine the 1275's mincing them and getting away at the time.

i don't think your aloud to have the siren on the top on the road and the police stickers have to be removable

PC-UK Classic Vehicle Fleet
"All the PC-UK fleet of vehicles are privately owned and have been restored and maintained to the very highest standards. We will not allow part restored or tatty looking vehicles onto our stand at any event. The owners are rightly very proud of their vehicles and will go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that their cars/bikes are exactly as they were when in service. Why do they do it you might ask? To preserve a little piece of our Police transport history is the answer and the public love looking at them when they are out on show."
