Still think the best period conversion was the manx gearbox with a lotus BDA engine stuck to the top...

Doesn't look like it has sufficient cooling with that rad fitted.

We did a couple back in the day, Neither looked as tidy as this at the front - although ours were not covered in plastic Kit.

In reality, not the lightest of engines but good if you like understeer !!!

Andy Saunders creations have been tamed in recent years since he came under the DVLAs watch full eye over a modified Bentley

all those that say the DVLA have better things to do rather than look at modified cars need to talk to Andy

Andy's cars are so over the top, they cannot be associated in the same breath as otherwise normal minis with very minor modifications such as triming the inner wings, or a turbo box

You have single handedly promoted the cause of IVA for minor modifications to minis than anyone else, do you have any association with DVLA? any axe to grind? some sort of compulsive disorder?

Why? It would have made more sense to fit a Maxi with a Mini engine. :D

1750cc Mini built as a early 90’s yuppie’s mini.

"Fully de-seamed and de-guttered and much subtle body work to make this car more like a styling concept based around the old mini.

Owned for 2 years by a female councillor who used it as her every day car.
The car is now living in Bermuda in a private collection."

That steering wheel seems a little threatening in a smash?

Great car though and very well finished
