Yes it certainly is, we wouldn't sell this item if the material wasn't suitable for exterior use.

It's a vinyl hooding leatherette (as described above) so it's specifically designed for automotive exterior use on soft tops and/or vinyl roofs.

Do you have a guide to fitting? having never done one, I assume its glued on, if so do you recormend a specific glue you have previously used and tested?

Yes, there is a fitting guide for the item on our website (there are fitting guides for all the products), on the individual products page simply click the link to the fitting guide.

And we recommended that you use a high temp resistant spray adhesive.
