hi there thanks for letting me join the site....what are peoples thoughts on the mini clubman that is in the old tunnels at longbridge ime sure you have seen the pictures on various site...if it was out would it be the last mini to leave longbridge that would in itself be an achievment to own the last one to leave as it just looks sad dumped down there and left to rot

Welcome and im not sure its actually possible to get to it anymore. I'm sure I read that the entrence's have all been blocked up now.

no i was with the old mini last week ..legaly i hasten to add and just thought could it ,should it ,can it , be restored

It looks like it needs a fair bit of work! But I say get it out (legally) and give it a chance - it has its own little place in history.

i agree 30 odd years down that cold dark tunnell and believe me it is bloody cold and bloody dark it deserves to be given another chance and would be known as the last one out of longbridge

Its worth getting, just because its a GT and a Reynard bronze one which are rare as! Do you live in or near Longbridge then?

to be honest it has never been registered and theres nothing usable from the shell, no engine too..
It just something good only for an heritage museum imho

I heard it got in that state by some workers battering it about... then hid it up the tunnel. Don't hold me to it though!

Can't see the point in trying to drag it out, its iconic because its inside that tunnel, we need someone to take a video tour of it and document all its details and history.. then it'd be more interesting!
