ENDING SOON: AUSTIN MINI METRO APPLEJACK GREEN BRITISH LEYLAND
Posted Image
"Very rare Austin Mini Metro 1981 series 1 in Applejack Green. Completely original unmolested car with genuine 14,077 miles and 2 previous keepers. Original tool kit complete with spare wheel and 12" tyre, original BL radio and Metro floor mats. No MOT and will require exhaust slight leak fixing (I have a brand new genuine Unipart full system (I may throw it in with the auction) and one rear brake cylinder, still avialble on e-bay for £5.
I purchsed this car around two years ago with a view to using it, sadly its sat in my dry stored garage since only to be started now and then, I simply dont have the time to use it. I have seen better kept examples and dare I say even lower mileage mark ones but never have I seen such an original car in this love it or hate it colour, find another!
Interior: Complete and utterly original with no rips stains damage to the vinyl or carpets/trim, smells like new.
Body: The green matches everywhere in shade with no signs of repaint or part paint, no rust holes but surface scabs with the odd dent. Subframe sound with no issues, infamous front wings have no rot.
Trim: All Present and correct with no damage or rips, stains etc.
Engine: Starts off the key with no smoke of any kind rattles or leaks, gearbox smooth including reverse, no clutch problems. "
Not quite a mini (A+ engine though), but how often do you see something like this?
