[Mini 360]

Ive got an HIF44 to fit to the car (1275cc now) but Ive no idea what plugs in where! Ive got the image below, so what do I ned to hook up to each inlet/outlet? Ive just got the service kit to rebuild it but need to know location of all the pipework!

if that pic is of your actual carb then it looks like a HIF38 to me not a HIF44

It is of my actual carb. Whats different between a 38 and a 44?

the HIF38 has a 38mm throat and the HIF44 has a 44mm throat, i say it doesnt look like a HIF44 because the flange the inlet elbow bolts so it a differant shape the flange on your carb (from the bit i can see) it looks like it is the same as a HS4 flange which makes the carb a HIF38 not HIF44, measureing it will tell for definate

Will have a measure up tomorrow. Better be a 44 as thats the service kit I bought

here is a pic showing the differance HIF38 left and HIF44 right (the overall size is the same despite the HIF44 lookin bigger overall)
