I have a '72 Clubman with 6x10 mambas on (JBW type)

But if i turn full lock or near it will catch my wing,
i have made the front higher so its fine to drive for now.
Yes i know i can cut the wings, but i cant cut the arches as they are W&P arches which mount on the wing lip (which are mounted now apart from the front two which are going on tomorrow)

SO what i was wondering is if we could come up of a list of wheels that we know DONT rub on full lock, as im stuck! :'(

This is how it looks at the moment (getting front arches fitted tomorrow, any one think i should change wheels by the way? what would you do in my situation?
I have kept them in brand new condition! :)

thanks guys!!!

are those wheels fitted without spacers, if so that offset is massive, i'm not surprised that they are catching the arches, dont cut the wings, take the wheels back and tell them that you shouldn't have to chop your car about to fit 10" wheels, thats ridiculous.

Those wheels will ruin the steering geometry and the road-holding and handling will both be very odd. Wheels should not increase the track by that amount. Have to say they do look pretty odd as well. Are they spacered of do they just have far too much offset?

I wonder if you're going to have to change the steering rack, I believe the sportspack minis had a steering rack that had stops built on, that reduced the full lock.

That is an unbelievably good looking car by the way.

i dont want to cut the wings to be honest with you i want to change the wheels and lower it to where it should be :)
i cant really it was about 5 months ago now i got them, arches have only just been put on, but to be fair it was rubbing when i put them on anyway :/

it handles unbelievably well so no problem there at all, they are not spacered at all :(
so i think i may need to get new wheels hence me asking for a list of wheels than dont comprise of superlight and mini lights :P

The Clubman always looks fantastic in high-gloss black, especially if it's a GT and has gold stripes along the lower body sides.
