I love the front and rear seats in the above photo, but I can't find any that aren't a ridiculous price, the pricing also seems stupidly different. I want black vinyl with no piping (or black piping) and headrests.

Minispares - £193.50 each! (£387 for both with no runners or shipping!)
http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&pid=37877

Huddersfield Spares - £280 for 2x seats and 2x sets of runners
http://www.minispares-online.co.uk/index.php?cat_id=2&sub_cat_id=21&prod_id=718#prod_selector

MiniSport - £165.98 each! (£331.96 for both - no runners or shipping)

These are knock offs from eBay - £165.00

Obviously the last ones don't look great quality or stitching wise, the lines in the seat and back almost look drawn on. It seems each site has their own version, was this seat once an official 'cobra' item and all the above are just attempts at re-creating it? Or can you still buy 'official' versions?

If anyone has any Cobra Classics in black vinyl with headrests, would love to see some pictures, prices and where you got 'em from!

With cobra classics, you generally get what you pay for. There are cheaper versions (like the ones suggested above from racingbob) and I have these in my car. They're perfectly comfortable on a long journey, but the quality is pretty shocking if I'm honest, bits falling off the underside, the piping surface rubs away really easily, the headrest mounts are awful, and yes as you pointed out the lines are actually just heat moulded grooves, not stitches. I plan on saving up to get some official cobra seats one day, but as I said the cheap ones seem to be perfectly comfortable (I regularly drive 3 to 4 hours at a time, no issues).

Are you specifically after Cobra's? P&L has a complete interior with Corbeau's for not much; http://www.plminisho...on=full&id=2260
They've got the loose seats as well afaik

Looks like I'll just have to save up and fork out then, don't want shitty quality. Anyone got experience between MiniSport, MiniSpares, Huddersfield? Huddersfield seem a good price and provide runners, anyone bought some from them?

Then don't buy Cobras. And don't swear on the forum please.

Why do you think they are a ridiculous price?

The seat back of a Cobra Classic is a sheet of 9mm MDF. It only relies on the tension in the vinyl or cloth skin to keep you off the MDF and tubular steel, and once they are not very old the fabric relaxes, stretches, and you hit the seat. This is more of a problem with the cloth ones.

I think I'll wait until I can attend a show and try some out, one of the most important parts of the interior and quality seems to jump between vendors.
