Hi, i have a mini with a recently fitted MG Metro 1989 unleaded engine fitted. It has an electronic dizzy but i dont have the original wiring for it. My mini has an 89 wiring loom and i was wondering what colour wires come out of each pin on the three pin connector on the mg metro dizzy. I know that i only need to use 2 pins, and take a 12V+ and 12V- on each side of the coil but because i dont know which colour wire goes where on the dizzy socket i cant wire it up.

I could try wiring it up testing each pin to find the right way that works but i dont want to damage the dizzy so im not doing that. Can anyone provide me with a picture to show which colour wires plug into the socket on the mg metro dizzy. This would be greatly appreciated because i cant find anything to show me on the intyweb

Picture of the 3 pin module which is attached to the side of the dizzy looks like this: http://www.lrseries....ODULE-3-PIN.jpg

Thanks in advance!

Andrew.

Have you got the plug connector that goes onto the module. I thought it only had two wires red and black. The red needs a permanent 12volts from the fuse box and the black goes to the coil. Im pretty sure this is how ive connected mine up!!!
