Hi can anyone answer my question, im hopeing to fit a mk1 grill surround to my mini in the near future but was wondering if you need a mk1 grill for it to fit, does anyone no if it will fit my grill in the pic below, thanks.

No... it will not fit correctly, the Mk1 grills are wider at the bottom than the top. You either need a full Mk2/mk3 surround or replace the whole lot with mk1 (which means removing the lip off the bonnet and putting a surround and grill on.
