Just shows what a large following the mini had, even in 1984

Any mini 25 owners watching?
Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
We're doing my '25 up, ready for the 50th celebrations!!
I'd just love a load of memorabilia to sit with it!
I have a couple of brochures, a Vitesse model, a poster and a book! Oh, and I think a sticker, somewhere!
Always on the look out for more to go with it, though!

I was only 12 years of age back in 1979, but I certainly watched the special Mini 20 programme (or whatever it was called) on TV with my family. I also remember the Mini 25 coverage on TV via the 1984 Motor Show which was hosted by Patrick Mower and Suzanne Daniel. I was captivated seeing all those Minis of all ages driving around Donington and their owners having a great time of it, plus I'd taped it and I used to watch it over and over again (like The Italian Job).
Anyway later that year I acquired the family Mini (my first car and the rest is history) and started driving lessons.
Anyway I was there at Mini 30 (with my mates and like all the other Mini owners there, we all got in for free as we were in a Mini).
I was also at Mini 35 and Mini 40, but I just couldn't be bothered with Mini 45 and as for Mini 50, well my family has grown and the entry fee of £35.00 each means we'll probably give this one a miss too!
