I have a 1991 mini mayfair and the steering has not been changed (from what i no).
I would like to buy a new steering wheel for it.
Would this boss fit

that boss and steering wheel should fit together and fit your mini. althogh that boss doesn't have the bit to cancel your indicators, not sure if its an mot requirement or not? mine doesnt cancel but if they fail it il just change my wheel back over

Self-cancelling indicators definitely aren't an MOT requirement, so don't worry.
