Can anyone give me some advice on removing the seat covers without damaging them? Ive got the Mary Quant striped seats which are really grubby despite being cleaned several times (in the month that Ive had her!) and Im finally decided Im going to put them in the washing machine... If theyre not clean after that Im getting them reuphoulstered - but I could do without spending the £250 Ive been quoted if the washing machine will do the job!!

The only question is... how to get them off safely. Is there a knack to it? The clips seem really tight :D

Any advice most appreciated!

Don't take the covers off. Get/borrow a wet & dry vac and some upholstery cleaner and get cracking! It'll take two or three goings over, but those white stripes will return to their former glory. :D
