10s That Fit Without Arches

I just wondered if anyone out there knew which 10" wheels available would fit without the aid of arch extentions.
I'm contemplating selling my McNally's, and going for something that keeps the shell looking as simple as possible. I love the McNally's, and the ones I have are 6", they did do a 5" but just like mine, they are really rare.
I want the widest wheels possible without being illegal, and I'm running Cooper S discs up front, and potentially spacered drums at the back.

So should LP883 and the original Minilites. Maybe they need a little negative camber.
5x10" MWS do aswell, but they don't clear the 'S' brake, thought
Cheers,
Jan
PS: If you consider to sell your McNallys - please drop me a line!

Other sizes fit but you say you want to be as wide as possible, so i doubt the 3.5" steel wheels would interest you
There's not much else that'll fit under without needing arches being as you're on discs brakes.

Been looking at all the 10's threads recently and maybe arches aren't such a bad thing. I guess I could get some group 2's and paint them the same colour as the body to make them more subtle. I don't want a rally replica, so it could be the way to go. Too many decisions with minis!!!
I've also made the mistake of looking at how nice my McNallys are, so I think they might be staying!

and genuine Cooper S steel wheels will fit (minisport now do a Cooper S 'steel wheel replica' made of alloy.)
Not only do they SELL copys made of alloy, they make reproductions off steel as well!
They are about 60 pound at the moment.

Yeah, leave them on!
Everyone's got minilights and Cooper S wheels - quite boring, isn't it?
McNallys stick out of the mass

I feel i should add that i *think* for a saloon mini, you cant use yokohama tyres with cooper s set-up, i think i saw a clubman with A032-R tyres, but if you fit the smaller rims you need to use carmac's or dunlops
(im about 90% sure so if anyone knows otherwise then please say as i would like to know!)
Dunno 'bout the rules in the UK, but here it is legal to put a, put any, 165 tyre on a rim from 4.5" up to 5.75" wide.
No matter what make or type (as long as it isn't a slick).
And as long as the wheel clears the brake and has an ok load index and the like - ready for take-off!
But as said- don't know about the UK
(Can't imagin it's different to a larger extend)
Cheers,
Jan

That's because it's not an MOT requirment for you wheels to be inside the arches,.. however you may pick up an advisory.
It is however an offence should 'bobby on the beat' find you, then you risk 3 points on your licence per wheel.
