I am currently restoring my '89 Racing Green Mini - and i need to locate some of the seat material for a re-trim of a non standard seat. Does anyone know if there is an old stock pile of the material or large off cuts. Or do i A - buy a few interiors for their material B - find a similar material???

I know its a wierd request.

I'm 99% sure that newton commercial sell replacement covers for the racing green, although they are NOT cheap. the may sell you some cloth if you ask.

the easiest way would be to look out for another set of seats, there are loads of them about, BUT dont let people trick you into buying a set of mainstream cooper seats, they are NOT the same. same material yes, same design NO :D

i guessing he's planing to trim a non standard seat with the standard material, so you get comfort and it still looks right in the car.

i bloody good idea and something i thought about doing in my cooper
