Hi there!

I am looking to replace my existing parcel shelf and making a new one which would fit 2 speakers, as the current one that there person before fitted is a bit naff.

Has anyone got any photos or ideas on what I could do???

just realised why they are raised. There are no holes cut in the metal to put flat speakers in.

So I will probable have to move the speakers to under the back seats. >_<

You could but them in the boxes beside the rear seats or cut holes in the parcel shelf with a jig saw.

i cut holes in mine with tin snips, most new speakers come with a tempate so you can cut an accurate sized hole. you'll need to remove the rear windscreen though..

i have a rear shelf made out of fibreglass in mine which i think looks pretty awesome il take some pictures later

hi, i made a parcel shelf for my last mini out of thick MDF then put carpet over it. Looked great.
I cut holes in the metal to fit the speakers. However i've jst got a Cooper and the shelf is slightly
different so im not going to use my shelf or speakers.
You can buy them off me if you want.

Then made up a board to fit and dropped in two six by nines
