I was looking at the plans on here for the speakerboards that go under the back seats as was contemplating putting it on two hinges rather than bolting or having it tight, in theory i was thinking i would be able to stick stuff underneath like my tom tom etc. As i havnt got any of the above (mainly mini  ) i was wondering if sum1 could tell me if thats feesable?

thanks

in a mini, everything (or at least most things....) is possible^^

remember that...

guess you basicly need to make your basic under-seat board and fit a couple of hinges. would be easier to hinge upwards than down though...

I was thinking of doing this, only having two 'cubby' holes instead of the whole thing dropping down... just an idea?

Wouldnt that spoil the whole idea of a "hiding place"??

cover up the wholes with a set of knackered speakers then you can use them for doors!

Heheheh...already done it, speaker board hides jack/wheelbrace, small tool set, emergency blanket and first aid box....along with a small, lockable valuables box. If I want access to any of the above, I simply lift the board and 'go fishing'. Just fixed it with some good, strong glue applied to an extra flap of carpet on the top edge. Works just fine.
