hi, i noticed that the mini miglia race cars do not have a rear valance on them, i just wondered if anyone has done this to a mini they use on the road. and also would this be easy to do

Technically you don't need a valance for an MOT but if there are any sharp edges it will fail!

Yeah it does look random there are a load of pics from previous posts, found some while searching upon FG rear valances t'other day.

ive done mine and it looks wicked imo as you can see the subbie and my rear anti roll bar. Ive also falt floored the boot so it looks nice and flat underneath. The car as we speak is still being worked on and ive been meaning to take some pics but it does look awesome

I dont mine the look of no rear valance.

however sometime i like the look of them on.

what i have been looking to do is to produce a cf valence that uses the bumper mounting bolts to attach.

just another quick question, how would i go about cutting the Rear valance off. but keeping the bumper holes

The easiest way to do it would be to trim the valance using a grinder about 1 cm below the bumper lip. Then pop a rubber trim along the remaining metal in order to keep the MOT man happy. You wont see the lip under the bumper. Hey presto! Quick and easy job. Paint the exposed metal once it is cut though or else it will rust. A small brush will do. :)

not really but more welding and panels needed if you dont like the looks of it :)
