Hi guys, I've recently acquired a roof rack for the Mini, but after a trial fit and run, I noticed that the rubber feet left some nasty marks all over my nice white roof and union jack which luckily I've managed to get rid of.

Basically, is there anything I can put onto the feet and/or cover them with to avoid these marks being made which will also be just as grippy, because I know how important they are to avoid your roof rack ending up on the road...

Cheers, Robbie.

you could put some clear vinyl where the feet stick so they protect your paint

I'd just stick some electrical tape under the feet on the roof.

Did you wet them before you put them on? That helps them stick. Or maybe a bit of vaseline.

Ooops, cheers for that. Didn't know vaseline eats rubber. The shop I bought mine off just said to wet them before you put them on and that always works for me but mine doesn't have a union flag :D
