Mini Mark 1 Clutch Not Clearing

i have a real problem
have been at it these last few months but no success
i have a mini mark 1 1961
have almost completed restoration but i cant get the clutch to clear
i have fitted the modified primary gear deva and got the end float correct also made sure the clutch plate moves freely on the splines
i now have the engine back in but cant get the clutch to clear
have renewed clutch m cyl and slave rubbers and fully bled
i have noticed that when exerting some force on the clutch handle with a lever the clutch starts to clear
i think that maybe the arm is bent also the clutch return spring is uder a lot of tension when at rest
should it be cranked or straight
any help much appreciated
living in spain i have nothing to compare it with
