Yes you can, but when it comes to the indicators, you need an inline resistor. I am not sure what the value has to be.

You can get ones that someone has custom made for a mini, he's over on 16vminiclub. He does them for all MK's of mini and also the van.

He sells them through ebay if it's easier to buy from there, there's also a video of them at the bottom of the listing.

also i passed my mot with my rear leds

Minidino is correct - the complete light unit including bulbs is e-marked. When you fit LED bulbs the light unit as a whole no longer conforms to the design which is e-marked and therefore isn't legal. New cars like the Audis, etc. have the lamp unit tested and e-marked as a complete unit with LED bulbs,

Also MOT only tests things are there not if it's a legal thing.... Like if a tyre sticks out from under the arch, they can't do anything about it.
