Hi There,

I have been given a mini which has mostly cooper s parts (from around 1967), but I found out the body is actualy an old 850 body. My question is, how different is the body shape of an 850 to that of a 67 from that time?

I understand interior is different, but the core body shape, are they the same?

Thanks,
Michael

There are subtle differences which make a S shell distinctive, but obviously the body shape is the same...

Thanks for your quick reply, so adding the correct trim etc could make it appear like a Cooper S. Yes, I wont have dual petrol tanks, but I can get the correct grill, bumpers and it should be okay.

Thanks,
Michael

As long as you don't try and pass it off as a cooper S you can do what you like...
