do recently bought some chrome hinges for the mini, changed them over and within 3 weeks there begining to rust!!

why so soon??
any way to prevent this??

i thought you where going to say huddersfield spares as ive always found thier chrome stuff to be crap.

minispares are normally good, it might be worth giving simon a pm and letting him know

other that that i would sujjest either using the standard ones or going stainless

whats his username on here then?
my dad said it could be the salt on the roads but ive cleaned it so often as i wanted to prevent rust i find that hard to believe, plus ive fitted them both with gaskets so they arent metal on metal.
