Which type? There is two without the reversing lights inbuilt - the MK1 (rounded) or the MK2 (Like yours, but without the reverse light)

To fit the Mk1 type, you'll need to get the conversion panels (basically fill the existing hole and have the MK1 holes drilled into it) which will need welding/painting... or buy a set of MK2 light units with lenses which will fit although they are smaller.

Loads of threads have covered this :)

If you want mk2 lights you will need to buy the whole units as their a bit smaller and don't have reverse.

You can also get these.

Their mk3 lens but the reverse bit is red and not clear which means they wont get though an MOT but you can always just put the standard ones on for the MOT.

thats my car! and jon, the reversing light isnt included in the mot test so it will pass.

and by the way, those lenses are very hard to find,

much easier to get mk2's

Very strange - will have to keep my eye out for those.

Are they a direct bolt on for the MK3 lamp units?

technically mk3's used what we all call mk2 lights, but they are a direct screw on job to the later type lights yes,

like i said ive never seen them before, i only saw 2 sets at imm and the french bloke had both of them.

theres also another type that is kinda the same but they are 2 pieces, there made by altissimo and are very rare, i have the right hand side one but it turns out the left is even rarer,

saw a pair at imm for £120!
