Right well first thing is does anyone know if you can get LED number plate lights?

Also I have a set of Mk2 rear lights and I want to put some LED indicator and tail lights in them. But as their earlier are the bulbs different? As I found a link on ebay and it said the bulb was for a later type mini. I'm not rather confused as I didn't know they changed.

EDIT: Changed as their was no point starting to different topics up on the same sort of thing.

Cheers.

yes you can get the number plate bulbs in LED any (dare i say it) chav car shop will have them in mostly blue but i'm sure you'll be able to track down some white ones. rear lights 100% i have them in mine but the indicator bulbs won't work unless you put either a resistor inline or wire a normal bulb up inline in the boot. as the LED's won't throw the flasher unit. you'd be better using the phillips silver bulbs that light up amber.

I don't really want the bolts. Just some white LEDs to go in the normal boot light thing. I'v ordered some on ebay although I think their gonna be to long to fit.
