Just wondering if anyone's ever painted their heater anything other than black?

I was thinking of painting mine aluminium effect to match my dash, gear knob etc

Get those pictures up :lol:

i dont know paint but i know you can get like brushed aluminium decal,sticker stuff

I have painted mine but painted it black.All though it will be getting painted again soon as i missed a patch last time which looks slightly odd :teehee:

I think they look ok. Especially if they match the car like cookie's.

If you put in the work as stewarts thread shows, they look the nuts, depending on your choice of colour it could look tacky, but I doubt it.

The car's red but I'll be painting it silver to match my dash and other accessories but I'll be leaving the control panel surround and the flat crackled face under that black.

I've not actually! Might look into that though! I've got a homemade aluminium gauge pod housing 6 gauges in the centre of my dash, an ali switch panel to the right of my clocks, alloy KAD quickshift, alloy handbrake grip from MRA Minis and soon to install brushed ali effect switch and heater decals from Roofless >_<

Sounds nice, have you got a project thread, had a quick look but couldnt find one, that or a picture of your custom gauge pod housing thingy.
