Im halfway through the process of prepping and painting a smooth boot for my mini, which means i will have to drop the numberplate to the rear valance. Only question is, how has every body else lit the numberplate for night driving??
Any links or pictures would be higly appreciated.

you can get bolts which will attach your number plate and have in built lights so will illuminate your number plate so legal

Yup there the bolts - mates Escort Van has them... they're quite good although not sure how the MOT tester would like them to be.

The silver bolts on the top half of the plate. A tenner well spent.

i used these to, got mine from halfords but they were blue and the mot man didn't like it. switched them for some white ones on ebay (larkspeed i think) and they were fine throught the mot, much better light than the halfords ones aswell. defiantly recommend.
