We are looking to change the Arches on Boris for Group 2,s but not sure the best place to get them?????

We priced some up today at Somerford Mini as they are close to us but they are £75

whereas there are some cheaper from Mini Sport and other suppliers

we dont necessarily want the cheapest,we want quality and fit to be our priority but we dont want to pay £30 extra if they arnt necessarily any better

So Recomendations please with links if possible who does the best Group 2,s?

somerford do look alot better than the cheaper ones. definatley a case of you get what you pay for imo

Somerfords do look Quality but theres such a difference in Prices i dont mind paying a little extra but just wondering if they are worth £30 more than most are charging for them?

Anybody else on here got Group 2,s ?
Where did you get them?

Looking for as many Recomendations as i can get

i got some gp2s from huddersfield spares 2wk back. they seem flimsy but when on the car are alot stronger.

Id go for the W+P originals.

Same size (more or less) as anyone's Group 2's, no visible screws and a bit classier IMHO.
(sixty quid and pukka quality).

Believe me it's worth spending the extra on the Somerford ones - I found out the hard way by trying to get a set of Minispares ones to fit and gave up after 2 days (and still not having one arch fitting anywhere near) and got the Somerford ones. Within 4 hours they were all on and that included doing the little bit of tweaking they need to fit onto a Clubman,

I'm interested to follow his thread and see the advice, stories and (hopefully) pictures because it's high time I
treated MiMi to a set of something better than the plastics she's wearing now. (do like those wp arches though.....)

Im sending my minisport Group 2 Race arches back tomorrow, they didn't even come close to fitting and one of them had obviously been snapped while being made and covered over with a bit of fibreglass which made it look awful! I love the look of group 2's but want to now find a decent set.

Lilys arches are from Huddersfield spares and I think they're really nice ones, they've been on her nearly two years now and still look as good as the day I got them, I've been really chuffed with how they've lasted and if I was going to buy them again i'd definately go back

I think the ones on bean's mini, reggie, are Huddersfield ones too

i agree mine are from hudds and they fit perfect and look 100%

I have them on mine. Looked at cheap ones and fibreglass ones from minispares which were more expensive. Went with the dear ones, they looked far better and didnt need painting.

I got mine from Huddesfield spares and they are great, I liked them that much I bought a set for my other halfs mini, they are good quality and fitted really well.
