Hi,

I need some help, I have a mk1 mini, with opening side rear windows, but the windows do not manage to lock when closed or they do not lock when they are open, can anyone help and give me some ideas, to figure out what i can do do to resolve this matter?

Also I having trouble sliding the front windows back and forward, is there a way I can repair the sliding runners or can i purchase new runners from somewhere else? Or would it just be something else?

any help is appriciated,

cheers

not tried it on MK1 windows but moving the fixings on the C post a little tightens the catch

my mk1 front windows were a bit like that, felt had worn off so was gripping on the rubber.
Put in new runners which were a little tight to begin with but soon freed up with use.

had fun trying to find the screws down in the channel, and best to have a helper so you don't drop the glass!
But simple fix.
