I'm sure i've seen 10x5 alloy coopers S style wheels advertised somewhere, that fit over over 8'4 discs.

I may have dreamt it, but does anyone have any idea if they exist, and who stocks them..........A link would be delightful. ^_^

i like those wheels

ive been confused though as they say you need arches that stick out 3.5 inches?

i cant work this out as the wheel is only 5"?

surely special arches or normal gp 2s would work?

Because the wheel has such a large offset that the disk and majority calliper are actually outside the wheel rim. This is how you can fit them with 8.4" disks. It's like using a standard wheel and then dropping a 2" spacer behind it.

Which means of course i'll probably be using Group 2 arches, and poop to legality and mud on my side windows.

(12 x 5 GB's for MOT time. ^_^ )

Can it damage parts of the running gear aswell? Or is this a myth?

It's a myth as far as i'm aware. We have been running them on our Estate for nearly 4 years now, as a daily driver, and we haven't had to change any bearings yet.

They do stick out a bit further, although we only have W&P arches on the front, and just the narrow wooden arches at the rear. Not a problem for the MOT as it isn't an MOT failure for the wheels to stick out past the arches.

If that is a picture of the offest ones for late brakes rather than the MiniSport alloy copies that need smaller brakes.

Good careful photography if it is the offset type though - false/inventive advertising?!
