Has anyone got pictures of mini with the arm rests in. And also will the arm rests fit between to cobra classic racing seats?

Thanks.

Yea, it does, you have to remove the whole thing when you want to easily adjust the front seats, or if you want people in the back.. you have to take the whole thing out to fold the seats forward, dead awkward.

i'd be temped to bolt it down, i know i'd rather it be bolted securely than it becoming a missile during a crash.

if you do that will you still be able to move the seats to get in the back?
could you not use the plans (there around here somewhere) and just make it a little wider so its a tight fit and does'nt move?

The fixing of the item is something we are having trouble with - and we wont be selling the item unless we can attach the arm rest into place.

As has been mentioned (briefly) if you move your front seats - or even simply raise the back to let people in the back - the arm rest moves and quite simply, it shouldn't.

I have one. But dont have a picture of it in place at the minute.
Its the best purchase i've made. Makes journeys much more comfortable.
Mine is held in place by friction. its made to be 'wedged' between the seats and squishes out at the bottom, so its quite a snug fit.
But you do have to pull it out if your moving the seats but that hardly happends for me
I could go out and take a picture of how it sits if anyone likes.

does anyone have one in their mini with cobra classic seats in?

i'm tempted to make one up of my own if they fit, in fiberglass (just fiberglass not mdf covered in the stuff.)

with some little tabs to bolt it where the seatbelts bolt in.

Yea thats cool. As long as they will fit between to cobra classics then I will get one. I have see if theirs a way of bolting it down so it wont move.

as daft as this may seem could you not make the armrest in 2separate halfs??

then have each side attach seat which it is up against, that way it will move with the seat, (if that makes sense?)

its probably not even possible
