Here is Angus when I bought him about 6mo. ago.
He started as a 75 Leyland 1000. Bought him for $2000. He had very little rust except for the back seat area. For my use I didnt need it out it went. He'll never be the same again...







Stripped him down and started cutting him up for the conversion. Gotta love the plasma cutter for quick work on metal. I will be cleaning it up as soon. Should be ready for the acid dip by next week. Then off she goes.






Stock Acura VTEC K20z1 engine from a US RSX type S



Engine has been torn down and internally everything replaced. Block painted and covers polished. Manifold and intake are polished as well just not on the engine yet. AC and power steering deleted in this shot. However, after actually installing it in the car this wont work. The alternator intersects the bottom suspension arm. The power steering is a bit more tricky will require getting a pulley bracket off of a civic engine and installing it at the top mount next to the idler pulley. So dont buy this bracket if your using it on a Zcars mini frame others may work but do so at your own expense.

Back from getting acid dipped.
New front end and wings welded on then shaved.
Complete respray with primer.

Next up.....the custom body kit, chassis undercoat and a special Lamborghini paintjob to finish him off.

Then the fun begins the Zcars kit is here. Yipeeeee!!!!!!

The K20Z1 has a bit lower compression (better for a turbo) hint hint

Ah man, that looked awesome! I LOVE the detailing down the side, and does anyone know what those wheels are? I can't find them in any of my usual sources. I'm guessing your selling them? Mind sending them over to the UK?

JFY597 is a 1931 Ford Model A Coupe Deluxe. A rare model with rumble seat and factory roll down rear window. She is my wifes car that her grandfather gave to her before his death. It has 1500+ miles on it and is a 2 owner car. All original down to the paint. Everytime I open the garage or take her for a little spin I get offers to buy her. So far the highest has been $50,000. But its a lot of fun and we want to keep it in the family. Im the only one that actually drives it and maintains it.

I believe they are called Chavoit's they were on the car when I got him. The rims have seen a few curbs in there time but I think that they are salvagable. Send me your address and let me see what shipping will be and we can go from there. Im not opposed to selling them. They are 10"s by the way.

OK, cool. I'm just asking because my neighbour has a model B Ford, 1936 IIRC, so maybe I'll take some pix if you're interested. It was in everyday use until about five years ago.

Hi There Adamsm....I have been on the Forum a while now just reading and learning. I have always tracked BMW's because I am an instructor with BMWCCC at Mosport...I have sold everything off and am looking for something different. Very interested in a Z Car...My very first car was a 69 Cooper S that I loved....I won't tell you how long ago that was......I'd love to hear about your build and possibly see it when finished.
