hello all,
i'm restoring a mini for a lass from my local mini club, it all BRG at the moment, but she wants me to paint the ottom half BRG, and the top half in OLD ENGLISH WHITE, so the th top half of the doors would be white.
i'm not sure if it will look any good, has anyone done/seen this before?, or have any pictures?
i just dont wont to paint it all, for it to look naff, it might look ok but i need to see.

I think you're right too, have you tried asking if somebody could edit one in the photoshop section?
The white and green don't go well together. If they want a twist try a BRG roof and OEW body?

Normally you try to make the colour break point a place where there is a natural body line, the Mini is so curved it's difficult to achieve. Obviously there's the roof that could be a different colour, after that I'd say either a foot up the doors or at the bottom of the door glass as break points. I's all a matter of taste, so as long as she's happy, do what she wants.
Only do the two colours on the outer surfaces, have one colour for all the door shuts etc, if it looks wrong it will be easier to blow more pint over to make it all BRG.

That is the best split point, but would work better with the green at the top as it will visually lower the roofline
Works better on a clubby though
