It has had a lot of work, and needs a lot more! It's had 3 outings recently and has broken down on the last 2...

Capacity: 1275cc with a +20 thou re-bore resulting in 1293cc
Cylinder head: ported and polished. Unleaded valve seats
Valves: 33-34mm Inlet, 19mm Exhaust
Block: A+ (more rigid than 1300 GT block due to webbing)
Rods: Balanced
Crank: A+ balanced, rolled fillet radii (preferable to ground F.R.)
Cam Shaft: Mini Sport Fast Road 1275 A+ Slot Drive cam, springs, valve seals & followers

Air Filter: K&N Tapered
Carb: Probably an SU HIF40 which is 1 ¾” [or an HIF 44]
Duplex timing gear & Chain
Rockers: Anodised alloy high-lift
Rolling road: 74bhp at the wheels (Flywheel bhp Estimated to be 100)
The Mini engine’s spec appears to be very similar to Minisport’s 1293cc Stage 2 Engine (91Bhp)

Very high performance semi-synthetic competition oil for engines with the transmission in the sump.
