Just found on Ebay tins of army surplus mat black paint.
Im going for the kinda individual, mean look for my mini, just wondering what you guys rekon it would look like?

if its a light matt then it looks awsome but if its a thick matt then i may look tackey and/or just cheep. matt black has to be done right.

Instead of a real matt black, try satin black, the paint you get on new body panels,
it will be easier to clean down, and look a bit better..
Matt black will look like a chalk board..

Matt black looks always good Especially with lots of shiny chrome, gives a nice custom feel. Or just paint everything matt black and get that rat look =) .. i try to find a pic of one very much customized finnish matt black mini when i get home

Cool, i do like that matt black clubby.
I just feel like it could look absolutely awesome rat styles or just look like a badly painted black to be honest.
I like the idea of the paint used on new panels, that could look really cool!

I think, and i'm sure many other will agree, that only Clubmans look good in matt black

Did you lacquer over it and is it not pourous at all?
Can you put wax on it to give it a bit of protection?
would like to do this to mine and yes it is a round nose TJ

Purtsi, thats the kinda colour i was looking at.
Using military matt black that they use on the land rovers etc..

What kind of mini u have? Is it a 'bling bling', rat-look or just a 'normal' mini u are going to paint in matt black?

Pretty normal to be honest, was gonna de-grille it though if i did the matt finish. Will have Hi-lo's wound fully down possibly de-bumpered. It does have chrome sleepy eyes, mirrors, bumpers etc etc.
