Many thanks for posting them ... and keep on if you have others !
By the way, it's funny to see those 70s custom cars with French eyes as in France, we have always been some years late with custom cars !
70s style used to start here in the 80s and kept on in the early 1990s !
Thankfully now some really nice custom cars are to be seen in France even if there are homologation problems ...

Running my own nostalgia website and forum I thought these might go down well on here.
Hopefully they might have inspired some of you to try something a bit different with your own cars
One more batch after these and that's it I'm affraid.

The (half of) Mini on the right of this picture with Wood & Pickett Arches and nudge bars + brand new 6x10 Cosmic slot alloys with Goodyear 165/10 Rally Special tyres was mine!!
I also knew all the Minis parked in this photo including the bumperless Hornet in grey primer as we had convoyed up the M1 with the Surrey/Sussex members of the then newly formed Mini Cooper Club.

Probably due to the tightening up of the MOT tests around this time

These pictures tell us so much about the past, but leave so much stuff untold.
How many of these Mini's are actually still around?
Where are all the people now?
Are Rob and Mandy still together?
I guess we'll never know!
