From now until the day upon which the 500th TMF+ member signs up, all existing and new TMF+ members will get the chance to win a share of £500 worth of Minispares vouchers.

TMF+ was set up as a discount scheme back in April 2008 as a way by which members of the site could help out with the general costs of the website and club, and in return they would benefit from a number of different discounts we'd set up with the Mini scenes best companies, as well as some website based extras. Well, since its inception nearly a year ago it has been a resounding success, currently with 423 members. With this money we've so far been able to afford upgrades to the website, plus some additions to our event and show equipment, plus we've got a lot more in the pipeline in the run up to the summer and Minis 50th birthday celebrations.

Those art guys at Mini Magazine have put together these two fantastic images to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the Mini next year. Featuring both the first and last Minis ever to roll off the production line, the images are the perfect way to remind you of all the festivities coming up next year, or simply sit on your computer as a homage to the little car that has spanned generations, styles, fads, governments and regulations!

Well what a trip that was! Amongst our midst we had a plethora of Minis, a number of retro BMW's, a very cool Vauxhall Cavalier with a 16v red top, a Ford Granada Limo, an immensely cool Renault 5 Gordini turbo, the VW Scirocco, a TVR Cerbera, a Triumph Dolomite and a few Pug 205 GTI's to name but a few! It was quite a group to take on the French and Belgium pot-holed roads, the twisty German mountain roads and the Green Hell that is the Nurburgring, but we did, and most of us returned unscathed.
